This pandemic has opened my mind to a lot of issues that I ignored. and yes, pornography is one of them. The weird part is despite its effect on our subconscious *( like as though cartoons have not done enough shit! I mean sponge bob is gay, squid ward is a lonely depressed wacko and don’t get me started on the jokes!), isn’t it funny that this stuff is still reserved for men.

Someone is about to pull out the holy bible and crucify me on the cross. for some reason, we draw a line on pornography, masturbation, abortion but we are okay with rapists and paedophiles. “the irony!” And the fact that people are willing to just label people perverts and show their utmost righteousness, well here is what I have to say.

It’s funny how the results from searches show that out of 75% of the viewers are women and people in relationships but when a girl comes out to say that they watch porn, it has to be backed up with a strong reason like research and shit. In this case, men are the only ones allowed to have this self-pleasure

but when it comes to a girl, watching porn is forbidden and you are a stupid pervert. Why though!? As girls or women, we are ‘required to have reasons for each and everything that we decide to watch and do while men are left to linger and enjoy. for example, we are responsible for our rape, we are not supposed to be so competitive cause that equates us to being rude and unattractive.
What the hell do you mean by I cannot watch porn!? we are always narrowed down to men’s sexual desires that are to say these guys later incorporate this shit and they’ll have the weirdest or exciting( for some) demands on the table. But as women our sexual preferences and desires are supposed to be natural and less sophisticated. We are expected to have the kindest and the most innocent ideas. Smooth, loving, soft, and others that fall in that category. We are meant to accommodate. It’s hard enough being sexually active now watching porn is a top icing that men cannot endure or even other “girls” per Se.

As we try to eliminate the watching of pornography, can we enhance our sex education too? We are bad at this job. What do I mean!? Neither of the genders is guided on how to handle these changes later on the urges for sex or how to handle sex itself. We are so bad at it that it stinks. We make it seem so forbidden and sacred and this pushes people to watch porn. Meanwhile, the girls are embarrassed to have pornography in their browser history and that’s okay honey. What is it going to teach you anyway?
